System requirements
- macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later
- Apple silicon or Intel Mac
- An API key for a supported AI provider, which you supply in Settings
- Screen Recording permission (required for Glimpse to read the active window)
Common questions
Glimpse can’t read my screen
Glimpse needs Screen Recording permission. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording, enable Glimpse, then quit and reopen the app. macOS requires a restart of the app after granting this permission.
The hotkey doesn’t open Glimpse
The default hotkey is ⌃ Space (Control + Space). If another app or input source uses the same combination, remap Glimpse to a different shortcut in Settings.
Where are my conversations stored?
Conversations are stored locally on your Mac. API keys are kept in the macOS Keychain. If you enable iCloud sync, conversations and saved memories sync to your private CloudKit database. See the Privacy Policy for details.
An answer was wrong
Glimpse generates responses with third-party AI models, which can be inaccurate or incomplete. Always verify important information before relying on it. See our Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.
Billing and subscriptions
Manage your plan, payment method, and invoices from your account dashboard. You can cancel anytime; access continues to the end of the current billing period. Refund eligibility is described in the Terms of Service.
Delete my account or data
You can delete your account from the dashboard, which removes your account record from our systems. To request deletion or a copy of your data, email teamglimpseai@gmail.com.
