Turn it on and Glimpse reads the focused app through the macOS Accessibility API — the whole page in a browser, the whole document elsewhere — with on-device OCR when an app exposes no text. An email, a spreadsheet, an error message, a contract.
Smart suggestions
Open an email and Glimpse offers “Write follow-up.” A meeting invite becomes “Draft agenda.” Source code becomes “Explain this.” One tap runs it with your screen as context.
Visual recognition
Opt in to send the screenshot itself to vision-capable models so Glimpse understands layout, graphs, and images the text alone can't capture. Off by default, auto-disabled when a secret is on screen.
Image generation
Ask Glimpse to generate a logo, icon, illustration, or picture and it creates the image inline, without leaving your flow.

Type /pr and Glimpse drafts the pull request from the diff in your repo. Confirm the review card and it commits, pushes the branch, and opens the PR.
PR & issue review
With a pull request or issue already open on screen, ask Glimpse to surface risky changes, condense a long thread, or help draft the next response.
/repos and /release
/repos finds every git checkout on your Mac — no token needed — plus your GitHub repos. /release gathers evidence from GitHub, Linear and your vault and drafts a readiness post, marking what's missing as unknown.
Meeting follow-ups
New, with Granola: when a call ends, Glimpse reads its notes and plans your next hour — recap, commitments, next steps, dated to-dos, and a follow-up email it won't send. It never records or listens.
Magic Bubble
Highlight text in any app and a small bubble offers Summarize, Explain, Rewrite, Translate, Fix grammar, Copy as Markdown, or a question of your own.

Screen Context asks macOS for the document's text directly. When an app exposes none, OCR runs locally — pixels become text on your Mac.
Secrets redacted
Passwords, API keys, tokens and card numbers are stripped before anything is sent. Email addresses and phone numbers are kept, so Glimpse can read them back and act on them.
Screenshots are opt-in
The image is never sent unless you turn it on, and it's auto-withheld when a secret is on screen.
Encrypted at rest
Local history and memories are AES-GCM encrypted with a key that never leaves your Mac.
Your keys, your Keychain
Bring-your-own API keys live only in the macOS Keychain, never in plaintext.
Notarized, and off your screen shares

The auth callback succeeds but hydration fails on iOS 18. Reproduce with an invited account, then inspect the restored session state.
